I have a Autohelm st3000 with a Powergrip 580xl050 - Does anyone know where i can get a slightly larger belt, approx 4 inch larger????

I can see there is some on ebay with part numbers d040,d036

Also can anyone tell me how to measure the belt???????

The 1050 is the perimeter of the belt, so if you want one 4" longer you have to add 4 x 2.54 to the length = 1060.
580 will be the width, but neither describe the type - multiV , V, segmented V, toothed etc.
Gates rubber make powerdrip I think

[/ QUOTE ]Err...no. 1050 is the perimeter in millimetres, so you'd add about 100 if you want one 4" bigger, ie 1150.

Nop not quit right......look at Page 47 I think you are missreading the details and it should be XL 050 and not L050 however GAtes seem to list it as 580XL and available as 12.7mm ie .50 Ins.

The L belt has a pitch of 3/8 which seems large however the L belts are also shown but there is not a 580 pitch belt.

the 580 is not the length but the number of pitches. ie teeth.

Please note that the cost from someone like Beeline is a fraction of the Autohelm Greenham price!!!!!

I found that the Autohelm price(about £11 from memory) was MUCH cheaper than a belt/bearing supplier as the Autohelm belt is outside the standard range normally stocked, and therefore would be a 'special'.
