The toothed drive belt on my autohelm has snapped.
It's one of the older type (I think its an Autohelm 400).
Written on the belt is "Gates", and "P/N 580XL050".
I am having difficulty in buying a new one....does anyone know of a supplier please?

Easily obtainable from any industrial drive supplier, try Fenner, BSL(Bearing Srevices Ltd) or others in your area, look in your yellow pages
Any further problems get back, its a standard industrial belt.

Thanks, Dickh, I found BSL have an excellent web site, and can supply these belts.
I also discovered they have a local sales office, and they should have a couple in stock for me in a few days time. (The BSL guy said they are rarely used!)

I guess this way is much cheaper than ordering throgh a Chandler!!!
