My Autohelm 1000 has worked perfectly for many years until recently. Now, after setting the buttons to AUTO when in a stationary place such as my home berth, the tiller stays in the correct position for a while but after several minutes it begins to "creep" to port or starboard until it reaches the endstop position. I suspect that one of the semiconductors is faulty but don't have a circuit diagram for the main PCB. I am pretty sure the control buttons panel is OK. Any suggestions gratefully received or if anyone has an old unit for sale?? - or even a circuit diagram?
