I need to get myself a new trim tab motor as mine is leaking at present, and I thought maybe if I get one from the US I could also order the auto trim tab system at the same time.

As my boat seems to be either leaning one way or another, depending on load, wind etc. I quite fancy this idea to make life that little easier. Has anyone fitted this system and if so - Was it worth it? Thanks

As it happens I fitted a Bennetts auto tab control to my boat over this weekend.

I ordered it from Discountmarininesupplies.com for $319.95 dollars including shipping. Had to pay an additional £27 sterling to HMRC and the post office for VAT and handling. Total cost around £190.00 sterling. Took about 10 days to arrive.

Total fitting time was about 2 hours, start to finnish. All very easy to install and comes with everything required.

used it for the first time on the way back from Yarmouth yesterday and it works well.

Let me know if you need any more info.
