Australian Wooden Boat Festival - 2011

In the Boating section of Saturday's Mercury, correspondent, Jocelyn Fogagnolo drew attention to the forthcoming AWBF 2011.
"The countdown has started for the ninth Australian Wooden Boat Festival which, thanks to a recent development, may become the biggest wooden boat festival in the world," she wrote. "Last month the former state government said it would double financial support for the festival, allowing it to expand over the entire Sullivan's Cove area in Hobart with free entry for the public," she continued.
The festival will run from February 11-14. Details of entry etc. will be posted on the official website next month. www.australianwoodenboatfestival.com.au
