Atlantic Spars and Rigging?

Some weeks ago I ordered some shroud covers from Atlantic Spars and Rigging: http://www.spars.co.uk

They arrived, but were not the sizes quoted. I've been trying to contact them by email ever since. Now their web site seems to have turned into a single image. Has anyone contacted them recently?

Last email I had from them said:

I thought they were in Weymouth. I've had some Selden stuff from them before and they've been ok.

I reckon someone's been monkeying about with their website.

I have been told, on some authority, that they are no longer trading and are in receivership. (I only quote what I have been told. I have no personal knowledge)

I have also heard they have ceased trading by two different local marine suppliers, and being my local rigger in Torbay is quite a surprise. I did go round to their workshop last week while trying to purchase a new Genoa Halyard but it was all locked up with nobody home.
I believe they also had a branch in Weymouth and a eBay site, so I hope there are not any outstanding orders unfulfilled?
I suppose my Selden Furlex Guarantee is still ok which was supplied by them, but only time will tell.

Crikey, have used them a few times and always had good service, they always seemed to be busy in the local Marinas in Torbay/Dartmouth. PIA for Nigel and the like though trying to sort out existing issues

I can live with it, I've ordered another size from Piplers.

What would have been sensible would be to have sent an email to all previous customers to inform them.

Nigel, if you paid by credit card you may have redress through the Credit Card issuer as the goods you ordered were not what was delivered to you. You should be able to dispute the charge

I've since measured the ID, it seems they are OK so it was my recollection of the measurement of the backstay that was wrong.

Yes....they went into liquidation on the 16th ??? of July, I have contact details for the Liquidators, Accountants, Directors if anyone requires them, but due to the size of the debts involved I have been told not to expect to see any of my money from them !
