Our neighbour, last night, came home in a DB7 V12 convertible, the swine! It is simply gorgeous! Sex on 4 wheels! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
SWMBO said "Sell the boat and you can have one" I replied instantly "OK!"
Then she said "NO!"
Guess she's right (again), after all its only a car and it don't float! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

"sex on wheels"??? .............better than using the phone while driving i supose !! .......only thing is she would have to be driving ...........you would,nt want anything to rise up and jam the steering wheel !!!!!!!!

The 540i that I owned was the most unreliable car I have ever owned by quite a wide margain.

What is it with men and Aston Martins. My husband would sell the grandchildren for one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think they are Dull, Dull, Dull (and don't they break down all the time?)

"What is it with men and Aston Martins".............ask my chum!

The deserate urge to try and find something that loses money even faster than a boat perhaps ?

Lots of bargain AMs around at moment,so now is the time to buy,but only if you can afford to perhaps kiss goodbuy to 20+K in less than 1000 miles and 12 very short months later.
That was on a very desirable rag top model .Loverly sound sytem tho...........

Your kidding, for years germans have had this reputation because anybody who mentioned unreliablilty was taken outside and shot. Ask 30000 owners of BMW's in the UK who had nicaseal bore problems and had new engines fitted, actualy they think its ok because they took their cars in for a routine service and came out with a new engine no charge. The germans are very good at covering up unreliability but recently its starting to overwelm them, ask Mercedes.
Not saying they are worse than any other manufacturer but certianly no better.

2.0ltr diesel 5 series M-Sport owner here 2007 model and due to go back in to the garage again on Monday for a warranty job....
Only the 5th time I may add, all different probs!!!
Never again I'm afraid. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I'm on my 4th bm, mainly cos I just like the cars ... but if you really want a 'never goes wrong' car, buy a Lexus. Reliable to the the point of boredom.

Cheers
Jimmy
