Hi Guys
Just back from 5 days on the boat, settled into
to our new Marina and absolutely loving it, great location, Henley for Lunch, Marlow for dinner, it's been bliss.
The sun shining I am sure has helped, but the Lockies have been near perfect for us this year, really cheerful, chatty and helpful. Have noticed a growing tendency for people stopping halfway up a lock lay by or in the centre of the lock lol but I am far less shy of asking them to move up or going round them if they wont. In my first season I was too busy panicking to ask them.
Today as we were leaving Marlow lock on our way to Bourne end I was aggravated to see the boat that came in after us and alongside was trying to leave the lock at the same time as us. Then I realised he was hooked up on my fender and I was dragging him out /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
lovely people who asked if my boat was ok before even worrying about their own. 99% are great 1% need some gentle persuasion

It was mr rebel, a weekend in St Kats without us! We been slumming it in Galway for the Volvo Ocean race for a few days
