Aspid - anyone heard of them?

Doing a quick search of prices online for the Garmin 276c before I go to SIBS. Prices anything from £499 (Port Solent superstore) to over £650 (it really is worthwhile shopping around!!)

Then I came across Aspid (based in Spain),

who are significantly cheaper for most of the products I looked at, and £450 for the 276. Anyone heard of them, or even had any dealings with them?? I think I'd rather pay extra to deal with someone I know, unless I receive some positive reports, but they do look pretty good.

This was posted on another forum I subscribe to ....As promised - here is how my dealings with www.aspidshop.com went.

I ordered the 2610 on Thursday, and it arrived on Friday !.

Cost was £581.00 plus vat (19%) and carriage (around £20.00).

I couldnt find this unit in the uk for less than £710.00 + vat - so it was a good buy - i did need to phone them once, but they are open till 18.00 uk time so it was no problem.
