I have owned two, one got lost. Current one is not worn much as I find it heavy. I prefer my lightweight, loose layers to the bulk of the jumper.

I've got one, a kind of mottled brown colour. Heavy and smells of lanolin ! I should have worn it last week when out and about as it was cold enough then !

I have one of the oiled wool ones. Expensive (£145 I think) but very warm. It is heavy but I like it. It needs a long sleeve shirt underneath as it is very scratchy, T shirt or short sleeve polo does not work. Thinking about buying one of their lighter ones.

Not intended to piss on Arthur B's chips but I did get a Guernsey from Le Tricoteur (Le Tricoteur: Guernsey Jumpers, Sweaters & Wool Knitwear) when we were in Guernsey this summer and it is definitely my favourite article of clothing; just a lovely thing to wear. Le Tricoteur were great to deal with and they modified it to my design.

I've got the cream and the brown Beerenbergs, they're wonderful things, warm, comfy, look good with jeans. Get a lot of compliments wearing them.

I have the beerenberg, packed it on multiple occasions and never used it as it’s too hot. Unless the wearer has no nerve endings or a calloused neck/arms it’s best worn with a long sleeve roll neck. I have a similar hat that stays on a shelf due to the itch. The jumper is a lovely item I’m sure they will like it, very good quality.
