Arrived on the East Coast!

Just finished a great 2 week trip moving my 31ft Westerly Berwick from Milford Haven to Debbage at Ipswich . Went via the Scillies (rude not to, really) and we were blessed by pretty good weather after a slightly delayed start waiting for the wind to swing round. Spent last Saturday anchored at Walton-on-the-Naze with lots of other boats with some great bird life and a free fireworks display and then got the boat safely into her new berth on Sunday. The Orwell seemed pretty busy!

Looking forward to exploring my new cruising ground over the next few months

Debbage at Ipswich. A cheapish deal for a while to avoid too much wifely muttering about the costs of the East Coast versus Wales . I have young children so an alongside berth is attractive at present, but a swinging mooring may well feature in my future.....
