Just been announced. No pricing, but

So in other words, Low basic price but £1000 for a wiper and nothing as standard.

I would not worry. The layout with the front berth part of dinnette is very unpopular in Uk. Much better to have seperate berth and smaller seating area.

It will be interesting though!

Although I haven't got it I actually prefer the open plan, permanent berth arrangement. Makes it seem much bigger with more useable space.

My first boat had this setup and it seemed huge inside relative to it's actual size.
 
Yeah but Jez, how far did you get on the Monte Carlo test report before you thought "uh-oh". I got as far as the part on page 2 where it said that all the wood strigers etc were not fully glassed in and not painted - just bare wood.

Not for me at any price matey! Gimme Scandanavian quality any time you like!

Eh? There's been many S28, S29, T27, T28, T29, T30, etc boats all with this layout against a handful of American boats with the layout you suggest.

Very attractive boat. Looks very beamy too. What's in the space behind the bog, what are those things either side of the engines and how do you get into the mid cabin?
 
Dunno, Dunno and I guess there is a door they have forgotton to draw.

I think they certainly have the styling right outside with the Monte range. I liked the cockpit on the 37, though I apparently am in the minority
 
Hi Pete,

I do not think I explained myself well enough. I agree that the UK market likes a make up berth like the S28, T28 & T29 etc. What they do not like is a part permanent berth which you raise up a section of seating to complete because these are invariably a compromise...and uncomfortable.

Hope that makes more sense. I also think the rear cabin is a clever storage area for Illegal imigrants as there is no door! That should fool Plod!!!!

Pete,

They look great, seem great but try and sleep on a poorly made one! The one on our Regal 2860 was only good for the kids and took up 1/3rd of the cabin! I think the Binliner 285 is an exception though the 275 (similar) and 305 are not supposed to be good!
