Lamlash vistors moorings are no longer run by Arran Yacht Club
Jim Blakey at the Holy Isle Ferry company (01770 700463 or 07970 771960) has owned & maintained them for the last 3 years.
They're all marked with green or yellow can buoys which lie in trots outside all the other moorings & have a simple central ring to moor to.
Anything inside that with markings, junks, lines or pickup buoys attached to them are private moorings (or clearly marked fairway markers) and are
laid privately for a wide variety of mostly small craft & in various states of repair !
During peak times mooring fees are often collected otherwise payment should be made at the Ferry Office on the pier.
Cost £10 per night small discount for longer stays
Popular places to anchor immediately North of moorings off old church spire or immediately to the south towards Cordon - be aware tide goes out a long way here.
Alternatively as stated above at Holy Isle to the south of the pontoon - especially if the wind is from the NE or E
