Arpege tiller head

Hi, looking for advice on taking the tiller head off the top of the rudder on Dufour Arpege. Looks like a threaded rod through head and rudder shaft? There is also a small pin out the back of the tiller head. Do I hammer this pin out? Do I try to unscrew the threaded rod or hammer it out?cheers

Did you find the answer to this. I'm wondering if you took the tiller head off? As you will see in a recent post I have been asking the same thing.

I doubt you will get an answer, last on here in 2016. Not a prolific member either.
