has anyone seen the around alone website? They obviously didn't lookat the VOR site, if this is as good as it gets its dire, and i will be deleting it from my favourites box, whats the opinions out there?........keith
kgi - agree entirely, a very large pile of pants. Thought my PC had gone lala but glad (in a weird sort of way!) to hear that it's not just me. Sir Robin, get it sorted out, we in the UK would all like to support and follow young Ems, our only (shame) UK entrant. Quickly now!!
I think the site is good - from a design point of view anyway. Interesting graphics, it loaded v. quickly and is quite easy to navigate.
The content management side is dismal though - no position reports, the position map is missing and they're still advertising trips to watch the start, er, 2 days ago...

Agreed. The whole PR has been terrible - although today's Western Morning News (a local sponsor) has a 28 page supplement called the Event Guide.
In contrast the GBR Challenge GBR 78 is good with its PR. The GBR Challenge Press Office has four e-mail addresses and Virginia Page sends out weekly updates to YJA members.
