Report in the latest Waterways World that our Brussels friends are seeking to impose maximum cruising hours for inland waterways users to 48 hrs per week and cruising hours must be logged.
It is not the 1st of April yet, but it is the April issue. I've probably been had but stranger things have emerged from over there. The report goes on to say that the UK government will seek an exemption for recreational users - thats comforting Anybody else read this as I did or do I have to search for those donkey ears again.

Dear oh dear, oh dear!
It's annual WW's April fools column - catches many. My Management said shock horror this morning; my reply was Calm Down Dear, 'tis WWs annual jape.

They are quite clever - and amusing - in making the article seem quite plausible, then hiding a ridiculous statement to make one aware -
