Are there any VHF radio repairers on the East coast

Have you been to The Netherlands before. I have never had issues with not having Ch31, in the early days not even a VHF :disgust:

Have a good trip, whats the plan

The Master plan....
Bradwell to shotley
Shotley to Breskens
Breskens to Middelburg - stay for two nights (eat, drink … be merry)
Head out to Veere
Then Goes
Then Yerseke
Then wing it.....

We have two weeks and 1 day out there!

Can't wait.

Recommendations welcome

Cheers

You dont need Ch31 for starters :encouragement:
Breskens have an intercom on the hammer head on stbd as you go into the marina if you dont have Ch31
No food shops in Veere the club is a great venue on a Thursday evening, as the locals have a get together
The Club at https://dehavengids.nl/index.php/ov...emuiden/263-arnemuiden-jachthaven-oranjeplaat is very welcoming, with bikes to borrow, best showers ever & really cheap bier.
Yerseke ?? well i would`nt bother
Kortgene is excellent for food shopping https://dehavengids.nl/index.php/overzicht-havens/veerse-meer/164-kortgene/260-kortgene-delta-marina
Everybody goes to Zeriekzee & well worth a visit

Back to the OP question, in the days before mobile roaming, we got our handheld adapted to add ch31 to use in Holland by George at Fox's Marina (Electronics dept). This channel is not for UK use as it's used by some of the emergency services (beach rescue?) Now that the phone can be used as part of your plan whilst in the Netherlands, it's a bit less useful but that may change back next year...!!
