Are prices dropping ?

Not that I am in the market for a boat but purely out of interest I have been skimming the for sale adverts. It seems to me that the prices asked are holding steady.
I would be interested in what others think.

Had an email punt from Penton Hook sales this afternoon offering reductions on some stock Sealines of around 5% - 10%.

What really matters is not the asking prices but the price if/when a deal is done and thats not so easy to find out.

I think prices will stay roughly out for a while. People who's boat was worth x a few months ago are going to be very reluctant to sell it for y% less.

Just wait a few months until they neck deep in negative equity and struggling to pay the bills. Then you'll get some jolly good bargains.
