I’ve got about a car full of unwanted gear that I’m happy to sell pretty cheap. I am thinking of investing £20 and taking a pitch at Kent boat jumble next month, but I haven’t been to one for ages. Any views?

why not put the stuff on the for sale forum here, put on the cheap price, and be willing to drop off at courier, easy to take money through Paypal...

if you have a bow-thruster I might be interested...

We have one that is run in the club car park. Some great great kit that people are looking to move on.

We have one at the end of the season. Mostly boat owners selling off unwanted stuff rather than a commercial do.

Hi you sound like you have genuine bits and bobs to sell.

Make a day of it and wait until Beaulieu. You'll get to look through the stalls there yourself too.

I have found the Kent boat jumble to be full of rusty stuff that had been dredged up and is only on sale because no one bought it at the last 10 jumbles that it was all dragged to.

I found that i was just paying to get in somewhere in order to spend more on Tea and a burger....

Beaulieu is at least a better day out and has better burgers!!
