Does any one have a UK supplier for these winches? ref web site below (not sure how you insert a link into a thread), and has anyone heard of Barbarossa winchs and also a supplier.

No but the australian site is very quick to respond to queries - they sent a message back to me on Easter Monday, the same day as the query. My 30 ST seem pretty much on a par with the Lewmars

Hi Peter.

I was told that Barbarossas are no longer made. Italian, I think. However, I heard there is someone in Lymington deals with spares for them now. I'll try to find out if you like.

Sorry this reply took so long. Barbarossa were acquired by Harken.
