Aquasignal 34 mast head led light

Hi I bought this some years ago but have not fitted it yet but my mast is down at the moment so I am fitting it i have fitted the base and tested it , but to avoid it getting damaged before the mast is steeped I have put the blanking cap on finally found the box with the lamp in it but here is my question is there a rubber "O" about 4 inches dia that goes on the bayonet type fitting, I don't remember seeing one when I fitted it the first time but now there appears to be one in the box please is there anybody out there that has assembled one of these that can confirm if there should be one, thank you in advance. I have tried to find an exploded view of the light but had no luck.

If I recall did not see a rubber o ring on ours but did have a tapered ring that was locked in on tightening

Thank you that is what I thought amazing how I found one near by if not in the box as you say there is a tapered ring that the locking ring tightened down on
