Aquador Owners Group on Facebook

Having recently bought an Aquador 32 I found that there seemed to be no owners' group - at least couldn't find one on Facebook, only the manufacturers page. Anyhow, I bit the bullet and started an Aquador owners Facebook page. Any others out there that fancy joining then please do. Never started an open group before so here goes. Running it as public and see how that goes. If it all goes a bit horrible I will up the privacy settings.

Where are you based? I'm not an Aquador owner but a member of our yacht club is the main man in the Aquador owners club in the south - not many boats, that much I know. Give me your contact email and I'll put you in touch.

I was planning on buying a Brabus Axopar.

Joined the FB group and just couldn’t believe the unresolved issues people had: side doors not closing, interior door to forward cabin not closing, the recognised fix was a piece of string, gull-wing doors either not closing or leaking, leaks, wipers, deck lifting, blocked heads, transom needing rebuilding … this is just a few from my immediate memory.

The real shocker is that no-one seemed to be getting dealer support. There was one really useful guy, either from the factory or ex-owner/employee who answered a lot of the queries and kudos to him but I thought the group was going to be more than the cry for help it was.

I cant recommend the dealer I bought our axopar from (They were not the uk dealer) - it was only a relatively minor issue that was easily resolved (wrong size prop was fitted by the dealer - I suspect due to covid related supply problems) , but I had to really work to get the dealer to resolve it - including going direct to jan erik and others high up in the company.

The boat itself has been great so far (aside from the issue I refer to above) - time will tell.

How are you liking the Aquador 26ht , I came across them while looking at other boats for sale and they do look great .
