Aquador opinions

Has anyone bought an Aquador recently and have any comments/recommendations for a prospective buyer?

Also particularly interested if anyone knows what model/years were built in Ireland and what build problems occurred with those boats?

think it was pre 2000 in Ireland. Problems were mostly costs although due to this they had other problems too as the cheaper the labour the less skilled.

I'm looking at the 26HT, just wondering what kinds of problems - are we talking about skinnier handrails and small cleats or more substantial issues such as hull or balance? (One broker I've seen has both the 23 and 26 from 1999).

I'm not sure if it was about Aquador but someone mentioned to me about a boat that was imbalanced because of uneven placement of water or fuel tanks or was it uneven consumption of the tank contents?

Also interested on comments about seakeeping, handling and views on using the roof hatches for stand up helming.

It would be the finishing quality if from Ireland as some of the labour was unskilled they did not make joins as well and had a few cosmetic problems but none I know of on the 26.

Wouldnt think thay would have an unbalanced boat certainly not heard that one of Aquador
