Yes, but I'm now leaving to go see what the state of play is. They postponed their training with me yesterday, but did say they still intend to come down. Just depends on how his ribs are today. I'll be ringing Ben one way or the other.

Great to meet you yesterday and ncie to meet your clients too. Very funny couple!
She hilarious after a few glasses of Shiraz and he brilliantly dry too.
I think it is fair to say that with horrendous weather, those that braved it (about 60% of the original number that booked) had a great day.
At 9.30 yesterday morning it looked like a total wash out, but with Claire and Caroline both coming up with the same idea it was turned into a super day that once again brought everyone together.
And weren't the band superb!!!
And that Hog roast... WOW!

Yup turned out not bad in the end. As you say my clients are a great couple. We did discuss on the way back how much money I'd saved him by going down by car - let's face twin 8.1 litre petrols on shafts on a 38 footer was never going to be frugal at the best of times! Let alone punching the wind yesterday!
The hog roast was great, just a shame that I was driving other wise I could have washed it down slightly better!! The guys did well in the face of considerable adversity.
Good to meet you Tom, and I'll touch base when I'm down again at the end of the month.

Looks like most people were put off by the weather. I've never seen the car park at Cobb's so empty on a July weekend before - I swear I thought I saw a tumble weed blown across at one point!

we were down at Salterns on Saturday late afternoon. Was bright enough but windy and cold for a july evening!!
