Aqd40a Volvo penta injector problem

Hi would anybody with experience of this 40 series engine be able to offer any suggestions on how to remove / extract the top hat heat shield that sits in the injector bore that the copper washer sits on. Cannot get it to seal. Trying to replace this I’m thinking that the fumes are passing by this …last resort Before removing the head ? any help would. Be appreciated Thankyou.
(Or is there anyone that could recommended that could do this job) I’m in Essex.

Hi. You’ll need an injector sleeve removal tool, to do it properly. Have a search for one of them with the right size in mind. All the best.

Hi Thankyou for reply , I’m looking at something similar maybe slide hammer . Looking at different options.
