Anyone operating AD41b's? pref on targa 33?

Managed to find some really smooth water last night, and just wondered if the following engine power settings sound right? ( and apologies to the residents of Criccieth!)

WOT off plane about 2600 RPM, increasing to about 3500 RPM on plane and about 30kts + on GPS, though backed power off to about 3000 rpm fairly quickly, which gave about 22-24 kts. oil pressure about 65psi

Moving tabs / drives didn't have much effect, though tabs did bring down the bows a bit

Intrested to know if these number sound ok?

Engines should pull 3800 wot.

Thanks Paul...........will leave at WOT a bit longer..............probably backed off the throttles a bit early (its the aeroplane driver in me).............Do the rest of the numbers stack up?

I have a targa 33 with the AD41 B's, 1992. At 3000rpm will do 22-24 knots, flat out should pull 3900 doing 34-36 knots. Obviously these figures are with clean bottom and drives. Get on the plane with legs in at -4 and tabs down, once up there lift off tabs and the faster you go trim out legs to 0, she will ride quite flat at 30 or more knots so the legs can be brought out to +2 to keep the bow up! I've owned Tamarind for 10 years and love the boat, excellent in heavy weather, we've travelled everywhere with great confidence. Happy days!

P.s. The oil. Pressure is fine at 65 psi. These engines do like to be worked hard so don't be worried about giving them a thrashing now and then!

Thanks Clive, very useful to get some Targa 33 specific advice................ will ring tomorrow evening if that's convenient.............just back from the dentist, and unable to talk!! many would be pleased with this result!
