Hi all, I'm hoping I can tap in to some prior knowledge on this...
I've got a pair of AQ145b's in a Fairline Sunfury, the coolant pump (not raw water) on the port engine is U/S and throwing coolant out around the engine bay. I understand these pumps are very similar to those fitted to the old Volvo 240 2.3 8v lump, (B230?) but require some modifications to fit to the marine engine and heat exchanger. The car pump is ~£30 from German and Swedish, the Marine pump is £150+
I haven't taken the old pump off yet, as it's just usable with the pressure cap off and close eye on the gauges, but would like to have a new pump ready to take down to the boat next time.
Thanks in anticipation!
Keith
