Approx how much paint?

From very faulty memory, 2.5lt for the topsides of an 18ft and 5lt for a 30ft.
How high are your topsides, say 1.5 metre, multiplied by 18.5m, the length of your two sides, equals approximately 28 sq m. Apply this to the sq metres per litre coverage figure claimed for your chosen paint.
International Paints' booklet used to have formulae for the a/f required for different hull configurations (motorboat, long keel, fin keel etc) that you entered your boat's vital statistics into and then did the calculation. There's probably an online version now that does the sums for you. It's a couple of years now since I a/f'ed my 30ft bulbed fin keeler, but, AFAIR a 5lt can will cover it with a little left over.
Incidentally, I used Dulux Professional Outdoor Gloss with very satisfactory results two years ago on my own boat and six years ago on a fleet of 5.7m keelboats that I was involved in maintaining, and they're still looking good.
