\'Apprentice\' Skipper vacancy

I have a vacancy for an 'apprentice skipper for this sailing season. I am principal of a RYA Sea School and operate a classic yacht as the main training vessel. I am looking for someone who wishes to learn to sail and to work towards any one of the RYA Skipper qualifications. I will give that tuition in exchange for assistance in yacht maintenance and assistance on my longer sea passages , for example from the Solent to the Baltic and return. Finer detail to be agreed when an interest is registered. Any takers?

Re: \'Apprentice\' Skipper vacancy

Whoever takes this up will get to sail a truly fantastic, drop dead gorgeous and very seaworthy boat. They'll not just learn the RYA syllabus but get a really first rate grounding (no pun) in seamanship. They'll also have a good many laughs.

I'm very envious - my wife and I did two 5 day courses with Charles a few years ago, but had to quit because it was costing so much - each time we went, we came back and bought a bigger boat!

To this day a picture of Charles' boat hangs in in our boat's saloon.
