I'd agree, unless there is actually a problem with the gelcoat, just go and buy a blue boat!

Two pack polyurethane is far more durable than gel-coat, does not chalk and maintains its shine far better.

We have sprayed gell coats, to avery high standard but it is not an amatuar job. You need an expert sprayer and a high gloss gell, like Duratec.
