I have only just discovered the private message facility, and have found a large number of messages to which I have not resonded. This isn't due to bad manners, it is due to stupidity.
I am sure you will all understand that it is too late to answer. My humble apologies. I do not do computer things very well.

Now you have discovered it activate the option in " settings" to show a new message "pop up" and/or to generate an email notification.

While you are doing that also select the option to automatically save a copy of sent messages to your out box.
