Yup, moseyed up to Penton Lock Island to walk the dogs. Hundreds of floral tributes and candles where the two lads drowned. Somewhat unimpressed with all of the RIP graffiti sprayed over the woodwork though. I really felt for the younger lads father who was there...

Well, I lived on the boat for the weekend, but spent much of Saturday in the galley at MTYC cooking for the Haul Out and Awards Supper. Sunday was spent with a monster hangover courtesy of a bottle of Grahams 1991 on top of far too much beforehand!

Was out on Thursday night; freezing cold but beautiful under the (nearly) full moon, also a little bit scarey after the tragedy at Penton Hook last week. Made the "crew" wear lifejackets even when safely inside!

Renewed the antifreeze and changed the thermostat on the Port engine. Then out for a liitle trip down to Boveney and back. Beautiful day out on the river.

Yes we were out in "Lazyleas" Fri - Sunday.
Spent Saturday night in Abingdon then wended our weary way home. Lovely frosty morning - Boat was icy and then some
