Ok. Back to the thread. We are going to Bray. Now i just need to make sure that we are not in range of No Regrets while she is manouvering.....

It's ok, looks like we'll be there as well. Shouldn't be too difficult to keep a little Broom under control. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Perhaps you could demonstrate for all us non broom owning boaters at the boat handling comp?

Welcome to Bray!

You might be berthed very close to us too, there's a few vacant berths each side of us.

Theres a few in front and behind too... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Must be a seasonal thing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Not a matter of need. In fact current boat does not have one. I can't see any point in being a martyr. If the toys are there and it makes life easier why not use them?
I actually think that at the moment my next boat will be single engined with bow and preferably stern thrusters.
When they invented the wheel I would not have knocked it and stuck with a horse!!

I have to confess than when Sat-Nav became available it was about 5 years after before I got it. Even then I would check the information I was getting against my own calculations and was always surprised that the Sat-Nav was always marginally better than me. It was 1990 before I accepted the Sat-Nav as being gospel.
