Anyone up for a challenge

A sealine t51 was featured some time back in mby, he bought his boat from cowes in a sorry state for not much more than 100k, I saw it before it went abroad and very nice it looked too after the refurb, I think it's for sale now at over twice that price, but I'd say in this climate big old boats just are not selling, the sums importing it from the states would not stack up.

I'm servicing one next week at ocean village so I'll give it the once over.

Having delt with several burnt out boats in the past, I wouldn't touch that one with a barge pole, my company has rebuilt two burnt out boats, one was a total refit and the other was in a similar state to that sealine, that one we never really managed to get rid of the smell, I still own it and i can still smell the burnt smell in places on the boat, no one else has ever noticed fortunately, the name of the boat sort of gives it away bough, Phoenix!

That sealine would need to be a whole lot cheaper than that for someone to be seriously interested!!

'Minor upholstery work'!!!
They've got to be kidding. Agree with whitelighter. A clean t51 of this vintage would be worth not a lot more than £200k so a fire damaged refurbished one can only be worth £150k at most and there's got to be £100k's worth of work to do. So it might be worth £50k landed in the UK and VAT paid but no more
