Hi all,
I’ve got a DP290 drive leg that dates back to 1989. Just recently, the hydraulic trim motor has been jamming. I’m looking for a replacement motor from the UK - just wondering if anyone had done the same in the past and can recommend a source?
The OEM penta part No is 3587106, for info.

Motoelectrical.co.Uk looks like my best bet so far, but I’m not seeing the specific model listed on there.

Cheers, all.

Rumours that the original electric motor for the 270 outdrive mechanical lift system was sourced from the Electrolux Hoover..
but, simpler to buy a complete aftermarket unit from eBay etc, or contact Coastal Rides for secondhand unit. ?

If it’s the one I’m thinking of…with the oil res contained within the unit, I managed to find one years ago, used. Hard to come by these days maybe. I know you can replace them with the newer type with the separate oil tank at its side though. Not too much bother, I seem to remember. I thought about doing just that at the time.
prestolite comes to mind perhaps.
