Anyone recommend an eberspacher engineer in the Medway area?

If you can whip it off then South Eastern Auto Electrical Services in Maidstone will sort it out, they may visit but obviously at a price.

Thanks for that, I'll give them a ring Monday :)

Dare one ask whats wrong ?

Just "Kelly Rose law," as I fix one thing, two more things break. This time it's the eberspacher and the ignition lights in exchange for a fuel filter!

On switching the thing on, the fan motor runs fast, it shows a Red light but makes no attempt to start. From the Googling I've done, it would appear to be the ECU but I just want it either to be fixed, or I'll remove it and fit a propex instead.
The new turbo and injectors are being fitted in the next couple of weeks so there's a good chance that after a Year of battling with this boat, it might, finally, actually work!! :)
So, I really want the heating working because if she does end up being fixed, I'm going to be out on her at every opportunity!

Spoke to Tim this morning, he advised me that it may be beyond repair due to age but to check the unit.
Went down and partially removed it lunchtime, good news, it should be repairable, it's not that old, so I'll run it in to him in the next couple of days.
Thanks again for the recommendations,

Chris

Fred, I shall pass that message on when I see him!

Just a note to say that I've spoken to Tim at KPT, he's a really nice chap.
Couldn't get any life out of my unit, so he's not keen to do any work on it as it could end up costing a huge amount of money with no guarantee of success.
It makes a refreshing change to meet an honest trader in this day and age, I can thoroughly recommend him :)

Fred, said Brother (another incredibly nice chap) is currently happily wading through heating system brochures as we speak, I imagine his days of cold feet will be over very soon! ;)

Cheers,
Chris
