Hi all, wondering if anyone here might recognise my boat and help me figure out what model / manufacturer it is.

My parents gifted her to me this year after owing her for about 25 years, running her out of Millport on the Clyde. I'm now running her now from Largs Yacht Haven, really happy with her but keen to find manufacturers' specs and maybe some history if I can. My parents bought her from a local resident in Millport and never found out her type or history.

She's approx 5m long, and about 350kg empty without engines. I've got 25hp on the back which feels a little underpowered when I carry any passengers, but I wouldn't want to push her too hard without any knowledge about what she was designed for.

I wondered if it might be related to the Marina 16 GT as the cockpit area and front windows are very similar, but different shaped hull sides and two window panes in each side so I guess not...

Very grateful for any thoughts!

It has a look of a Microplus with its slightly drooped forward deck, similar windows, but so many similar boats of the era were built, bit of a guess really.

I agree it looks like a Microplus 501 that was my first thought, but pretty sure it isn’t. Here is a photo of a 501 on the beach in Beer, Devon, that I took last month, you can see the main difference is the blunt bow.CC5093A4-2965-49FB-B597-7C667B7E3842.jpeg
