The latest version of the Recreational Craft Directive, it may not be the best read but it sure beats counting sheep.

The other one is "how to make a £million from building powerboats" by Francis Whittley of Shakespeare. It's only got one line in it, " Start with 2 £million"

The Greeks and The Sea, by David Isitt (with photos by some bloke called Tom Isitt), published by the Erskine Press. A truly excellent book.

Since Christmas I've read
TRAWLER - not much impressed, 100% dialogue and all shouted, quite a tiring read.
History of the RNLI - surprisingly good read
The Kite Runner - excellent
Revolt in the Desert - T E Lawrence, found in local second hand bookshop £10 and superb

Wife just bought me a copy of High Windows by Philip Larkin, a slim vol of poetry but excellent, it was a because a friend said, in a not entirely complimentary way, that my character was similar to one described in one of the pomes.
