Storm bound in Shotley today we caught the bus to Fox's (no 202) and I left my cap on the bus. The driver on the return bus said he'd pick it up at the depot and bring it back but he found it locked in the depot office and couldn't get it. So it will be in lost property at Ipswich Buses depot tomorrow.

If any kind soul could retrieve it and post it to me a small reward would be paid - to be honest a very small reward:p. It's a white Musto baseball type cap stained with my DNA. The unique feature is that the top button has been removed ( a precaution I would recommend to one and all as this is solid plastic secured with a metal stud that does serious damage to your skull - I have the scars to prove it:o).

Not worth a journey out of your way but thanks in advance:)

Quite an appropriate comment really. I had man flue one day and in my delirum I got this idea that I would like a Tiller. I was so daft I thought a fake one would be better.

I'm better now!

Thanks Bluemoves XX

I am please to report that I was reunited with my much travelled cap this morning courtesy of Margaret aka Bluemoves. Delivered to me at Shotley - how nice is that:) This forum is fab.

Nice to meet you Margaret - now get on here and recruit some crew for your Bav 32 so you can come to some forum events, we would all love to see you there.

Aha, Bluemoves is now a confirmed East coast gal, great to hear it and motion seconded. Come along Margaret, shake a leg and say hello. Long time since we last had a chat

I know we are an all inclusive forum - raggies & stinkies getting on together etc but a Bavaria - I mean to say!:rolleyes: I thought my 'ex' was the only dodgy keel around here!!

Margaret - I am just jealous as I expect your boat will go astern AND where you want her to!

BTW - a bit of Fred Drift - I spoke to the new owner of Flipper the other day (yes, he is still talking to me) and Flipper has been strengthened & reglassed. Fitting out starts next week.:D
