Anyone leave their charts on board ?

I leave a local folio on board. Since I use a dehumidifier during the winter, this is not a problem. My cruising charts come in two sets, according to whether we turn left or right after leaving home. This get carted down to the boat shortly before the summer cruise.

We keep charts, books and clothes on board without problem (other than acquiring 'eau de boat'), and that's on a small MAB.

Keeping the water out is only one part of stopping a boat getting damp inside. A decent flow of air through the boat when not in use helps greatly (otherwise you are just trapping inside the moisture from when the boat's in use and from condensation). Cleaning away any salt (absorbs water) and grime (feeds mould) is also important.
