Anyone know where's a good deal on antifoul online?

Why is green anti foul, as in the colour so blooming hard to get these days? Yes you can get it but you don't seem to get any good deals.

I used RED premier for the last two seasons with good results, why don't they do it in green?

Toolstation no longer sell flag Flag antifoul - or under water primer. When I quieried it not being listed in the new book - I was told if its not in the book we don't sell it.

Just checked their website - and neither is now listed under 'Antifouling' - only metalic primer ?

Flag have an online sales of their own - antifoul approx 34 inc vat. Their underwater primer ( very good ) is about £11 a liter.

My next door neighbour in the yard was bemoaning the fact that he can no longer find green boot-topping anywhere.

Gael force own brand gives you a free anode if you buy two tins. No idea if its any good though

I find this to be very powerful stuff-self eroding copper based.
Plus I can pick up from the store.
Tool station will deliver free so probably more competitive for exactly the same product online.
Gaelforce confirmed that theirs is Flag with their own label.

There are loads ... but I suspect you mean simply the cheapest.

I would recommend you talk to other owners that are in the water near you ... see what they apply, how much they apply but most importantly how much they use the vessel over the year as this (after copper/biocide content) will be the most important factors to how well an antifouling performs.

I too noticed it wasn't in their recent catalogue, so checked on their website. It was listed about a month ago, and I bought 2 tins, because I had a feeling it would be 'no longer available' at some point. Pity.

One of the reasons I use my brand of choice is not only that it is suitable for my mooring but also that it does not change colour during the season. (I know some may say only the fish can see it :))
