Anyone know the name of the yacht in BBC McMafia?

Yep, she's called Asgard (although was launched back in 1993 as Hetairos), built by Abeking and Rasmussen, and designed by Bruce King. King had made his name designing some large and truly beautiful neo classical designs for many years prior to this, including Whitehawk, Whitefin and (my personal favourite Alejandra).
Hetarios' original owner must have really loved her as he held onto her for 18 years, before replacing her with a mega ketch from Baltic Yachts.

No, sorry, that's incorrect. The yacht is "Lauran", a 35m ketch built in 1998 by Heli Yachts. Pictures on this charter website...

Both beautiful yachts! I have to say its hard to tell which of the two is used in McMafia, but I think it is Lauran....

I wouldn't say no to either under my Christmas tree though!!

It's definitely Lauran! Here's a pic from the charter website, and a screengrab from McMafia...

This a bit like an old spot the ball competition.
I can see the similarities ; but not convinced the 2 pictures are the same.
Think the reef pennant on top picture is slightly higher than lower picture.

I'll row back on it being Asgard. - The masts are the wrong colour (they are cream on Asgard), the tender is secured in front of the mainmast (on Asgard it is under the boom), and there is no circular skylight amidships on the the McMafia yacht (as on Asgard).

Bravo pvb!

Wasn't the big stainless anchor-port a conspicuous difference? Asgard doesn't have it in the photos I've seen.

It definately isn't the Asgard. I photographed it whilst we were both in Reykjavik harbour last summer. If I knew how to put a photo on the forum I'd do it. My photo is in RAW so it'll need downsizing.

Still on the Lauran in Croatia
Two very interesting photos of McMafia's filming in Croatia appeared yesterday on social media. These are photos of the shooting of the boat Lauran made with the use of a drone from Hexawork off the coast of Rovinji, posted on Instagram and Facebook.

Evidently the 'French' scenes in McMafia were filmed in Croatia, where Lauran is based. The villa also used was once owned by a chap named Tito.
