Anyone know a supplier of these curtain tube fixings? Or a near substitute?

Hi Everyone.

The curtains in my boat are threaded onto two 10mm aluminium tubes which are attached to the saloon walls by little plastic fittings (see pictures). The screw hole centres in the fixings are 22mm apart. They are falling apart so I'd like to swap out the lot but ideally without making more holes in the boat. In general the two tubes system seems worth continuing with. I thought about making something similar or even having it 3d printed, but if they are for sale somewhere I'd certainly rather buy some.

Thanks

Simon

I 3D printed replacements for mine .....

Temporary of course as the originals are teak triangles .... they split along the grain ... so I though about creating laminated wood versions ... but needed a quick fix ... 3D print.

Bravo! I have knocked up a crude one in Tinkercad, but it's not a thing of beauty.

Another possible source is a caravan accessory supplier.

My usual GoTo instead of Marine Chandler !! When it comes to Cabin / Interior gear - often same gear but different label and price.

ie : Adjustable hatch strut .... Chandler : 12 quid. caravan window adjustable strut (exact same item) : 6 quid .......

Guess what I used !!

Pleasure - I did think about 3d printing but they are not very expensive

I’m guessing that you’ve got an Albin or a Najad?!
You are right, I have an Albin Nova. I bought it recently and I'm loving it so far (although the curtains keep falling down!) I contacted Erlandsons Brygga and the parts are a fit but they don't ship overseas. I'll work something out though. Thanks Weaver Fish.
