Hi All, have just put Molly back in after a few days on the slips, replaced 4 anodes around the prop, 2 @ 2.5kg (au$24) and 2 @ 1.1kg (au$20) 1 anode on the 25mm propshaft (au$15) antifoulded with 10 litres (au$360) painted the topsides @ (au$80) Slipping fees (au$400 inc a further 2 nights on the marina) replaced 4 seacocks, 2 on the heads 1 on the engine and 1 on the heads sink total cost inc valves and labour (au$590)

That should keep her happy for a while ! ! !

now reading your post again, i am thinking about Ting my engine water intake with my gally sink salt water intake, and my sink outlet Ting to my cockpit drain, less holes in the boat the better im thinking
 
Probably to do with the intakes - and the suction from either the engine or the galley sink pump ...
I would have thought the drains should be ok - if you size the components correctly ...
 
Ah ... thats where u were comming from ... our cockpit is lower than the sink .. but then it also has 2 x 2" drain holes in the stern .... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
i dont understand whats wrong with plumping my sink return it too my cockpit drains and takeing my salt water for the gally from the engine intake????
 
Our friends have just bought a rival with this arrangement (galley inlet & engine inlet shared). They've had lots of problems with the cooling system - Paul had a look and removed the galley tap from the loop. No more cooling problems and significantly more water spat out from the exhaust.
