Watching on CNN and BBC it seems that the tanks are being pulled back and are not maintaining control of Istanbul airport and the big bridge over the Bosporus .
Note that Erdogan was on holiday down in Marmaris.

CNN might not be reliable for much longer: soldiers reported in their Turkish building.
