Am going Saturday. Had this from BJ Marine who have taken over Dickies

"It is with great pride and excitement that we wish to inform you of our massive presence at this weekends All Wales Boat Show in Pwllheli, from 8th-10th May.

BJ Marine will have a strong line up afloat of the current Beneteau ranges, both power and sail. We will have models from the Oceanis, First, Antares inboard, Antares outboard, Swift Trawler and Barracuda ranges, a proper display! We will also be showcasing all our brokerage boats on our dedicated brokerage stand ashore. We will have all the information for you on all the Beneteau and Monte Carlo yachts range, from 20ft-100ft+.

Since opening our Pwllheli office and working with Beneteau, we have seen excellent sales results for both new and used boats. Whatever your boating needs and interests, visit the show this weekend and meet our team. We will have show deals ready for you on all new and stock boats, and we are happy to discuss trade ins with you. Our factory direct show deals won't be matched.

Please do not hesitate to contact any of our team to let us know you are coming:

UK Wales- Mike Caplan +44 7979578238"

So should be good if Beneteau are going to have a serious presence

i posted free tickets ,and weekend discount tickets and had no takers ,last year got rid of plenty so ,i think the show will be poor ,hope not though

I went yesterday. It was **** and we left after about 40 minutes. Last year was better imo.

So that worked out at 50p/minute for the pair of you! I had a look at the exhibitors and decided that I didnt want a new boat or a Bentley or a Mclaren.

Think the boat jumble is more my style!

I must admit we spent an absolute fortune in Stermat

and came away with change out of a fiver and loads of stuff I didn't know I wanted!

The weather must have seriously limited everybody to inside the Marina on Sunday.

I went on Friday....disappointing to say the least.

Only bought lunch and a coffee

It was however entertaining watching some Welsh minister for culture and sport ride a jetski in his suit and mac in the pithing rain

Luckily I had some £5 off vouchers so only 25p per minute! Weather was pretty grim and there weren't many people about at all.

I love Stermat it's one of the strangest shops going but definitely good for bargains. Beware the gloss rollers they sell though; the glue that holds them together dissolves...in gloss paint.
