I'm trying to work out some measurement comparisons between my Perkins Prima M60 and other engine models. I'd like to get hold of the spec sheet for the M60, specifically the basic measurements. Tried online but to no avail. Does anyone have a copy of the spec sheet with readable measurements?

It is the same engine as a Volvo MD22 based on the Austin Montego diesel engine made by Perkins in Peterborough. The basic dimensions - most critical are the mounting points will be the same but some of the marinisation parts may well be different. Most of the current replacement engines such as the Beta 50 will fit in the same envelope.

I have just done some articles for PBO April and May on rebuilding a Maestro turbo diesel engine, basically the block is the same for all of the deriratives. Perkins Prima 50, 60 etc depending on the power output spec. A £1000 would more than cover the cost of buying a scrapper, rebore, regrind and new parts from www.parts4engines.com
