We owned one of the early Bells of Buxton non-fly bridge versions with Perkins HT6354, 145hp engines. Served us very well, taking us to Holland several times. It was built to a price with plenty of chipboard. The windows were prone to leak. We spent a fair bit Re-fitting inside. Despite plenty of effort, we never tracked down why it used so much oil. 10 gallons on a cross channel trip to Holland and back! Just treated it as self changing oil system!
we enjoyed it but it was only 15 years old then. Unless you are very fortunate to find one that has been loved, I would doubt many have survived in any kind of condition Another 30 years on.
