I have a very short term need to borrow a trailer for three/four days at the end of november. it needs to take a 24ft boat weighing 2000kg. Doesnt matter if its bunk or roller, but does need to be able to cover a few hundred miles easily.

Happy to make a financial contribution, just wondered if anyone had such a thing that might fit the bill.

You might find that the towing capacity of the Hilux is not up to the rig, if the boat is 2000kg , any trailer suitable for this weight is going to be well over 500kg and nearer the ton, so the all up weight of the rig could be nearly 3 ton. There are not many cars or trucks out there capable of that limit, Land Rovers being one of the few. Had this problem a while back trying to find something suitable for towing that kind of weight.

Hilux 2.25t; Navara D40 2.6-2.7t; Navara D22 3.0t; Isuzu Rodeo 3.0t.

There should be a plate near to the trailer towing hitch giving the unladen weight of the trailer. My SBS twin-axle, 3500kg. max gross weight trailer shows an unladen weight of 690kg.
