Anyone got a crane?

I posted on the PBO section a few weeks ago, and while everyone was helpful, the suggestions were for cranes too far away, so I thought I'd try here...

As above, I need a crane to lift my baby out the garden, onto a trailer that should arrive next week, so I can then take said tub to the motor person to have a whirligig bolted on, so I can join y'all on the river.

The closest point of the river to me is Kingston...

Any suggestions?

You dont need a crane you would get away with a Hiab
You may be able to get away with working it in with thier timetable so they just turn up and pop it over the wall when they want ? Now you have the cabin on i can understand why you dont want to trust a few mates to lift it , one slip and /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

When Jewsons come to deliver the turves to repair the grass that the tub has sat on, just get the driver to hook the boat over the hedge.

Bit of Google, bit of asking around, turned out the peeps I'm buying the motor from suggested the same company, which is a good thing...

We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Got to go do one more layer of epoxy on the deck now.......
